Current Events
The Wild Animal Sanctuary loves being a part of the community! We participate in lots of town fairs environmental events along Colorado’s Front Range, and we gratefully accept every opportunity to partner with organizations and businesses to do cross promotions. Most of these activities occur outside in spring and summer, but sometimes we are involved in indoor events during the colder weather. We also sponsor our own annual fundraiser, “Summer Safari,” each June, and host other Sanctuary events both at the refuge and in other locations.

The Wild Animal Sanctuary is coming to Boulder…
Join The Wild Animal Sanctuary in “Rockin’ the Gardens” at Boulder’s Millennium Harvest House. Friday, July 2nd 5:30pm – 9:30pm
Please join your “Wild” friends from the Wild Animal Sanctuary for an evening in the gardens of the Millennium Harvest House in Boulder, CO. The Millennium Harvest House is hosting the Friday Afternoon Club (FAC) Rockin’ The Gardens Concert Series.
This family-friendly event in the beautiful hotel gardens lasts from 5:30 – 9:30 pm, and will feature live music by The Nacho Men, one of the most entertaining and interactive dance bands in the country, offering up a unique combination of dance music, costume changes, choreography and humor. Fun for kids will include free face painting, hand-drawn tattoos and balloon creatures for the kids and the young at heart.
TWAS has lots of exciting things planned… beautiful and colorful displays, tables full of information, including volunteer, animal adoption and pledge programs, merchandise sales and hourly door prizes.
