Group Tours

Is your group looking for something unique to do? Then come on out to The Wild Animal Sanctuary!

We love groups at The Wild Animal Sanctuary! With more than 200 captive exotic and endangered rescued large carnivores, there’s always so much to see. Your group will get all the tour information before you actually take a guide book and walk up on ramps and observation decks to view the animals.

Education is a critical component of creating a better future for estimated 30,000 large carnivores that make up the Captive Wildlife Crisis in America. When your group visits, we get the chance to tell the animals’ stories - what happened to them before they were rescued – and then show visitors just how much better life is for them since they’ve come to live at TWAS. It is our hope that you’ll become as passionate about saving these beautiful animals as we are.

Group Tours are scheduled Monday – Saturday, at: 10:00am, 12:00 noon, and 2:00 pm. Groups must make reservations in advance, by calling 303-536-0118. Most group visits last about 1 ½ hours.

Your group is welcome to bring a picnic lunch, or we sell sandwiches, chips, beverages and snacks in the Gift Shop. There are also restaurants that can accommodate groups in the nearby towns of Keenesburg (Rooster’s) and Hudson (Pepper Pod, and El Faro’s). If you want to dine at any of the restaurants in the area, please make your group reservations in advance.

We look forward to having your group visit soon!

Because we are a nonprofit organization with 200+ very hungry mouths to feed, we do not have group rates.
