The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a place where motivated change makers can immerse themselves into a dedicated community, working side by side to provide a safe-haven for rescued animals to live out rest of their lives with dignity and respect. The Wild Animal Sanctuary has endless opportunities where our team members continue to develop personal and professional skills while growing their knowledge base through hands-on and peer-to-peer training. Committed and highly contributing team members receive compensation ranging from $40,000 to $85,000/year - with some seasonal opportunities for students and others with limited schedules. Politics and selfish behavior are not allowed, and we do not sweat titles or positions. Saving and caring for animals, as well as educating people, is our overall mission so each team member is happy to work wherever they are needed most.

Before auditioning to become a compensated Team Member, we strongly encourage you to read our website and consider becoming a Sanctuary Volunteer. The Wild Animal Sanctuary is not a zoo, and we purposely do not have a large number of paid staff. The majority of our compensated Team Members come from the Sanctuary’s volunteer pool, since this helps us identify each candidate’s potential while clarifying their level of passion and commitment to our cause.
